Jeremy is the chief strategist and evangelist for Remedy. He is a board-certified Emergency Medicine doctor who trained at UT Southwestern in Dallas. After working in Emergency Departments in Austin for several years, Jeremy and his family moved to Ethiopia where he served as the Chief Medical Officer of a charity hospital. While working overseas, he learned how simple providing quality care can be. With few resources, their team was able to change lives for a fraction of what we spend in America. Upon returning to Austin, Jeremy committed to finding a better way to deliver quality urgent care in a convenient and affordable manner.
Chris has been providing care to folks in the Austin area since 1999, both as a family medicine physician and in the urgent care setting. He is board certified in Family Medicine with education from the University of Arkansas. He enjoys the abundance of outdoor activities and cultural gems unique to Austin. He spends his spare time with family and promoting his horses.
Jenny is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She received her Master of Science degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and has experience in family practice, pediatrics, and obstetrics. Before being a PA, she received a BA degree in Graphic Design at St. Edward’s University, but then found her calling in medicine while working as a nurse tech in the intensive care unit. As a PA, she has worked with the under-served population in Austin and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, triathlons, exploring new yummy places to eat, and cuddling her three cats, Oscar, Cleo, and Rajah.
Jason grew up in Michigan. He received his Masters in PA from Emory University. He comes to Remedy with over 7 years of experience in emergency medicine. His fiancee is also in the medical field and together they enjoy hiking, biking, dog parks, and Austin’s wonderful live music venues, festivals, and restaurants.
Preston is a native Texan! He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to becoming a PA, he served as a firefighter and paramedic for 5 years in Houston. His PA experience includes family practice, urgent care, and overseas emergency medicine. Preston enjoys rock climbing and country western dancing.
Sara, originally from Oklahoma, is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She completed her PA studies and received a Masters in Public Health from The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. She has worked in primary care for over 6 years and also has experience in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Sara moved to Austin in 2004 and appreciates the vibrant, upbeat vibe and beauty of the outdoors. She loves to hike, kayak, listen to live music, and volunteer her services at a weekly program for Alzheimer patients.
